MINIMUM AGE

The school will not admit any child into primary unless

  • The child will reach the age of five years on or before july 31 of the current year, or
  • The child will reach age of five years by October 15 of the current year and; the parent provides an affidavit stating that the child attended primary in another country.

Field Trips

Field trips are part of the instructional program, providing experiences that enrich classroom offerings. Students may go on field trips during the school year. Teachers often plan related instructional activities before and the trip. Children may be taken on field trips that require transportation. Such trips are made only with the parents permission. Walking trips within the school area are considered a part of school work and may be taken without written parental consent. A classroom teacher and usually one or two other adults supervise all field trips.


Homework Journals

Children from pre-school to primary class are asked to have a homework journal which should be signed each night by their parent/guardian. If a child has any difficulty with his/her homework, please note it in the homework journal as the class teacher checks the journal daily and/or comments or messages can be left for class teachers on the EDU-SLICK student/parent hub.



Student Conduct Between Home and School


Parents/ guardians are responsible for their child’s conduct enroute to and from school and are encouraged to work with the school in establishing and monitoring good behavior.



Healthy Lunches


Children are encouraged to eat a healthy and wholesome lunch each day. Crips, big bars, fizzy drinks and chewing gum are not allowed.



School Absences


As a parent or guardian you must let the school know if your child is absent from school and the reason why. It is school policy that reasons must be given in writing or text messages.

Please be informed that most of our school-related messages are conveyed to parents via text messages, emails, communication book or EDU-SLICK parent hub. Please inform us if you have changed your mobile number or email.

Dressing Guidelines

Neatness And Decency Are Among Our Core Values. Our Primary Pupils Appears In Three Dresses In The Week:

  • Students must come to school wearing the correct school uniform. Uniform must be neatly cleaned and ironed
  • Personal cleanliness,hygiene and neatness is expected at all times. Hair must be neatly cut/pinned/plaited and combed. Nails must be kept clean and short. Boys must maintain their hair trim and neat. Fancy hairstyles and coloured hair is not allowed.
  • Failure to comply may result in the student being sent home after two warnings.
  • Students are not permitted to wear costly or fancy watches, chains, earrings, belts etc. Primary students are not allowed to wear watches.
  • Students are not allowed to colour/spike/gel their hair, wear nail polish, tattoo or any henna design. Fancy hairstyle are not allowed.
  • The Shirt must be fully buttoned.
